Native granite, sourced and shaped on site.
Granite is the bedrock of Muskoka, and it should be the bedrock of your landscape too. We source native granite locally, then split, shape and set it on site so every boulder, step and outcrop looks like it grew there. Nothing imported, nothing veneered — real Canadian Shield stone.
Hand-shaped on site
Our crews work with hydraulic splitters, feathers and wedges, and decades of feel for how granite breaks. Steps are cut to the grade. Feature boulders are oriented to their best face. Shoreline armour is keyed and stacked so it holds against ice and wave action.
What we build with granite
- Natural granite steps from cottage to dock
- Feature boulders and outcrop accents
- Shoreline restoration and ice-defence armouring
- Stacked granite walls and seat walls
- Custom granite slabs for fire pits, hearths and counters
Why native granite matters
Local granite weathers in lockstep with the existing rock on your property. The lichens, the colour shifts, the moss — all of it reads as one continuous landscape instead of an obvious add-on.
Service area
Granite work throughout Muskoka, including Bracebridge, Port Carling, Bala, Rosseau, Windermere, Gravenhurst and Lake of Bays.
